Lydford Station Stables is on the site of the old railway station.
It has been converted to a stable yard with an outdoor ménage and an indoor riding arena.
Lydford Station Stables is situated just on the borders of the National Park.
Lydford Station Stables is a hidden gem; a Site of Special Scientific Interest, small competition centre and rare breed farm which will, from July 2010, be opening a riding school.
We will have lessons for both children and adults including stable management and specific training for competitions.
We also hold shows on site every Sunday so there will be plenty of chances to practice.
We are particularly aiming at beginners, nervous riders and children and have a good variety of horses and ponies to suit most needs.
Give us a call, details below or come and visit us and see what we do.
